SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference faction led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani slammed a news report published in a local daily which has reported about meeting of an unnamed Hurriyat leader with PDP patron Mufti Sayeed alleging the report only created doubts about all pro-freedom leadership.
Hurriyat Conference (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar said that the source which has revealed this information to the daily has moral obligation to identify the person who has met Mufti Mohammad Sayed and discussed the government formation with him.
Without naming any person, this type of news creates different kinds of doubts in the minds of people and it can create misunderstanding about the pro-freedom camp, he said in a statement.
