Criminal record gutted in mysterious fire

Srinagar: The criminal record was gutted in a mysterious  fire in a court room at Sanat Ghar Court Complex in Bemina.

Sources said that court room of Second Additional Session Judge that contained the criminal record pertaining to the offences against women was completely gutted when mysterious fire engulfed it during the dead of the night.

A police official said that a case vide FIR number 268/2014 under section 436 has been registered and investigation has been taken up. “We have questioned many employees of the court and hopefully the fact will emerge in one or two days,” he said.
