Major Combing Ops In Machil

SRINAGAR: Army on Saturday launched a massive combing operation in Machil sector along the the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Official sources said that army’s 45 RR today morning launched the searches at Doodi forests in the sector as it has apprehension of successful infiltration by a group of militants.

They said while conducting day long searches, the forces have so far recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition in the area.

The recovery include one Sniffer rifle with two magazines and ten rounds, one AK-Magzine, 60 AK-rounds, two pistols with two magazines, two wireless set with antenna, one pouch and other essential items.
