Srinagar: A Presiding Officer was injured when youth stoned a bus carrying poll staff in Anantnag district which is going for polls on Sunday.
Police sources said that youth stoned a poll bus (JK13 269) at Sarnal in the district. Due to stone attack, Presiding Officer namely Muhammad Lateef sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital, they said.
Lateef was nominated as Presiding Officer for polling station number 53 Sarnal Bala.
