3rd Phase: 31 candidates in fray

JAMMU: According to Returning officers of 31-Tral Assembly Constituency, 32–Pampore Assembly Constituency, 33-Pulwama Assembly Constituency and 34-Rajpora Assembly Constituency, on the last day of withdrawal of the nominations, in all 31candidates remained in fray in four constituencies of the Pulwama district for which the polling is scheduled to be held on December 9th, 2014 under 3rd phase of Assembly Elections in the State.

In 31-Tral Assembly Constituency, 7 candidates, Mr. Avtar Singh (BJP), Mr. Gh. Mohammad Mir (INC), Mr. Krishan Singh (JKNPP), Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Bhat (JKNC), Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah (PDP), besides two independent candidates Sheikh Abdul Rashid and Mr. Ab. Rashid Dar.

 In 32 – Pampore Assembly Constituency, 6 candidates are in fray including, Zahoor Ahmad Mir (JKPDP), Ali Mohammad Wagay (BJP), Mohammad Anwar Bhat (INC),  Yawar Ali Abbas Masoodi (JKNC), besides two independent candidates Ghulam Mohd Yatoo and Mohammad Iqbal Sofi.

 In 33-Pulwama Assembly Constituency, 10 candidates are in fray including, Bashir Ahmad Magray(INC), Riyaz Ahmad Mir, (BJP), Gh. Nabi Wani (Ratanpuri) (NC), Mohammad Khalil Band (PDP), Ab. Qayoom Mir (PDFS), Farooq Ahmad Mir(PC), besides Bashir Ahmad Malik, Sana-ullah Dar, Abdul Gani Shah and Masood Hussain Wani as independent.

In 34-Rajpora Assembly Constituency, 8 candidates are in fray including, Haseeb A Drabu (PDP), Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mir (NC), Fayaz Ahmad Dar, (INC), Mohd Abdullah Dar(RPI)(A), besides Peerzada Syed Bashir Ahmad, Syed Riyaz Ahmad Riyaz Khawar, Gh. Nabi Wani and Lateef Ahmad Dederd as independent.
