Ganderbal: Police on Thursday seized a Sumo vehicle carrying anti-election posters in Central Kashmirs Ganderbal district and arrested two persons who according to police are Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) activists.
Police sources said that Ganderbal Police detained Mushtaq Nabi Wani of Korug Ganderbal and Aslam Rasool Chela of Ganpatyar Habakadal, after they were found carrying election boycott posters of JKLF in a Sumo vehicle (JK01L-4978).
A police official said that both the arrests were made near Bandey Bagh Ganderbal. A case vide FIR number 178/2014 under section 13 of Unlawful Activities Act has been registered against the duo and both have been put behind the bars, he said adding that police seized all the boycott posters from their possession.
