Srinagar: Udaan, a special initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs organized a three day recruitment drive in Srinagar from November 18-20.
The event started with a workshop on November 18, where 18 corporates from across the country participated in a roundtable where representatives from Government of India, Government of J&K, NSDC and other stakeholders discussed the challenges and opportunities under Udaan, a statement said. Nearly 200 participated in this roundtable. On the second and third day graduates and post graduates will be attending the Udaan recruitment drive. The 18 corporates are expected to select over 2000 candidates from across various sectors like banking, IT, ITES, Security etc. Selected candidates will then be trained by the employers. Upon successful completion of training, they will be offered jobs at locations across India.
