SRINAGAR: The India and Pakistan armies exchanged gunfire along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The two sides exchanged overnight gunfire at Saujian sector, sources told GNS.
The firing started from Pakistan side at around 2:00 am after which the Indian army also retaliated and the exchange of gunfire continued till 3:00 am, they said.
The firing between two sides also broke out at Mankote sector along LoC in the district on Monday morning, sources said.
They said: At around 8:20 am, Pakistan fired at Indian posts drawing retaliation from India army at Mankote sector of Mendhar.
