Handwara: A soldier was killed and two others were injured when their bunker along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of north Kashmir caught fire, police said on Monday.
Police identified the deceased soldier as Manohar Singh of 18 Jat regiment. A police official told CNS that a security bunker caught fire at Tootmar Gali (TMG) of Nowgam sector in Handwara town in which three soldiers were injured. He said that one of the injured later on succumbed to his injuries. We are investigating the case, he said. (CNS)
