Inqilabi questions Mirwaiz’s silence

Srinagar:  Over the recent remarks made by the track-II diplomat Ram Jet Malani wherein he has stated that majority of the separatists want to be with India, senior resistance leader and Mahaz-e-Azadi patron Mohammad Azam Inqilabi Monday said he fails to understand why Mirwaiz led Huriyat kept mum over the issue.

In a statement issued here, Inqilabi said, “I fail to understand why Huriyat Mirwaiz was not prompt in giving a rebuff and rebuttal to Jetmalani for his misleading statement regarding the role of Huriyat leadership.”

He added that Syed Ali Geelani did react with democratic dialect formula, common people of Kashmir would like to know from Huriyat leaders who, according to Jetmalani have a lurking inclination to India. “I, because of my militant temperament and emphasize myself more with UJC than the triangular Huriyat,” Inqilabi said.
