Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir has been hit by the worst-ever devastating floods in over a century and Indias not allowing international aid to flood-ravaged Kashmir is unacceptable attitude and shocking for the people of Kashmir valley, senior Hurriyat leader and JKNF chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan said.
Khan on Friday visited the areas of Jawahir Nagar, Ikhraajpora and Rajbagh which were worst hit in the recent devastating floods, while interacting with the people he said that Kashmir is going through the worst ever disaster in over a century and appealed people to maintain unity and walk hand in hand in these rough times to overcome and rise again from the loss suffered by natural calamity. Said Khan.
He said that that magnitude of the disaster is large enough and it cant be met without international help, India should allow and appeal help from the foreign countries on humanitarian basis which will help the people in rebuilding the Kashmir once again.
