Srinagar: Shah-e-Hamadan Syed Ali taught us the lessons of God fearing, Self-respect, self confidence, self help and following these principles we can deal with the present worst situation created by the floods, said Yasin Malik, chairman JKLF.
Flood devastation has broken our economic back bone but the need of the hour is that our hearts should melt and we should turn to Allah Almighty for the betterment of our worldly life and hereafter, he said. Malik was speaking to people at Khankah-i-Maula Srinagar today.
Yasin said Kashmiris respect, love and regard their sacred ancestors, imams, saints and godly persons. We have always admired those God fearing saints who not only enriched us morally and spiritually but also taught us to strengthen our economy and livelihood.
He said that despite having many lacunae, and defects we as a nation have never reneged this love and affection from our hearts.
