This refers to news report Cricket Frenzy: Kashmiri Students Hounded Out Of Punjab College (Kashmir Observer August 27). If it is true, it is another pathetic display. Sport is a sport, and Indians should not make any dictates on Kashmiris. Can they really dictate on other |ndians?! They need to grow up.
Any good team should be applauded if even if India is beaten. On their part, India should display some spine when playing with any competitive team. Their show in England in the test matches this year was sub-standard and not worthy of their position in ICC.
My advice to Kashmiri students – don’t show that affection in public. Just get your education.

Say No To Loud Speakers
Apropos the opinion piece Say No To Loud Speakers (Kashmir Observer, July 02, 2014). The Treasure of Spiritual Melody do exist between the Modest Biological Wave-bands of Azan. The extent of its harmony with the surroundings is that it uses to force even the splendid celestial rhythms of physical matter to bow before the modestly resonating levels of human emancipation. Unfortunately, under the contemporary beats of wonder, its excessive magnification has least contributed to the spiritual soothe, but noise due to chaotic overlapping of ultra-sonic trumpet zones of disturbances.
