SRINAGAR: The driver of a speedy car managed to flee from the spot after crushing a 35-year-old woman to death in Central Kashmirs Budgam district on Monday.
Eyewitnesses said that Rafiqa Banoo, a resident of Zorugund Budgam, was busy helping her kid board the school bus when a speedy Wagon R car knocked her down . The driver according to eyewitnesses fled from the spot after the crash.
The woman was shifted to SKIMS where doctors declared her brought dead. A police official said that a hunt was launched to trace and arrest the erring driver.
