In a statement issued here AAP leader Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat said that death of Bilal Ahmad Parray from Cherahaar Beerwa is once again a case of total negligence on part of the artillery unit of army which has failed to clear the area from unexploded shells which remain littered in and around Tosamaudan.
He accused Government as well as Artillery unit of army for the deaths taking place in the area as both of them have failed to clear area from un exploded bombs and live shells.
Dr Muzaffar said that in past also scores of people have died in several villages locate around Tosamaidan in bomb blasts but till date no protective measures have been taken neither by Army nor by the Government to clear the area from such un exploded shells. Government especially the Army and Police have modern gadgets to find out explosives, live bombs , etc but we fail to understand why these gadgets and technology is not pressed into service by the authorities to clear Tosamaidan and its adjoining areas from the un exploded shells etc
He added that only two months back a young girl namely Simran died in a similar incident , but Government took no protective steps , nor has the Artillery unit undertaken a massive search operation in the area to find these explosives which claims human lives in the area.
