SRINAGAR: A class 10 girl from Bughna Uri died Wednesday following reports that she was depressed after failing to pass the “golden test” in her school. A CNS report claimed that the girl committed suicide but the cause of death is yet to be ascertained. The agency report said that Nazneena Banoo daughter of Muhammad Rafiq resident of Bughna Boniyar committed suicide after failing in 10th class golden test.
Doctor Suhail at SDH Boniyar has confirmed that the girl was brought dead to the hospital. Her relatives have been quoted as saying that she was depressed after failing to get through in the golden test. Police has registered a case and the investigation is going on.
