Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Ittihadul Muslimeen Friday organized peaceful protests and demonstrations at several locations after Friday prayers against massacres of innocent citizens and desecration of sacred places of Muslims by terrorists in Iraq.
Protests rallies were taken out in Chattabal, Zadibal and Gund Hasi Butt after Friday prayers by Muslims in protest against the killing of civilians and desecration of Muslim holy places by the notorious terrorist groups in Iraq.
Pertinently, armed men attacked the holy shrine of Imam Hadi and Imam Hassan Askari in Sammara and have warned that they will soon attack the shrines of Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani in Baghdad, Imam Ali in Najaf, Imam Hussain in Karbala and Shrines of other Imams and Ahli-bayt in Kazimain.
Demonstrators and protesters holding banners and placards chanted slogans urging for unity among the Muslims.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Ittihadul Muslimeen condemned the police action to stop the Golden Jubilee celebration rally of Awami Action Committee. The spokesman also condemned the house arrest of its Chief patron Maulana Abbas Ansari and President Masroor Abbas Ansari.
