Kichloo meets Wardwan delegation

SRINAGAR : A delegation of Panchayat members from Wardwan met Minister of State for Industries & Commerce and Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today in his office chamber and discussed issues of urgent public importance.

The delegation presented various issues before the Minister including snow clearance of roads from Gawran to Wardwan and from Guzar to Basmina, posting of doctors and para-medical staff at Primary Health Centre Afti and posting of lecturers at Higher Secondary School Afti. The issues discussed also included supply of new ration and issuance of ration cards in the area.

The Minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that the necessary action for the redressal of their genuine grievances shall be taken on priority.

Kichloo directed the officials of Mechanical Engineering Department to take up snow clearance in the concerned area on priority. He also assured the delegation facilitation of early opening of Sinthan Kishtwar road.
