Congress Chintan on May 24

Srinagar, May 19 : The Congress state unit has called a meeting of its’ ministers in the state cabinet on May 24 to discuss its humiliating performance in the just concluded Lok Sabah elections in the state.  

Confirming about the meeting, Muzaffar Parray, vice president Pradesh Congress Committee   (PCC) said that Prof Saif-u-Din Soz, PCC president has called a meeting of Congress ministers on May 24. The meeting will be presided by Prof Soz.

“On May 27 the PCC president has called meeting of state executive committee to review and assess the reasons behind its poll debacle,” Parray said. Party sources said, that the meeting will be assessing the factors responsible for its decimation in Jammu regions. “The PCC will review the elements who have been instrumental in party’s inertia in Jammu region where the party veteran and former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was defeated,” a senior Congress minister said, pleading anonymity.
