PULWAMA: Police Monday recovered a human skeleton in the forests of Yarwan in South Kashmirs Rajpora area of Pulwama town. Police has sent the skeleton for DNA sampling to establish the identity of the deceased and has started investigation to ascertain the cause of the death.
SHO Rajpora said that the human skeleton which seems to be of a female was recovered by police in Compartment Number 5 of Qasbaiyar area of Rajpora.
The skeleton was sent for DNA sampling and in this regard, Rajpora Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the case of death, police said.
