SRINAGAR: After two good spells of rain in the last part of the current month, temperatures began to rise in the Valley on Monday.
Valley which received drizzle over the weekend a clear sunshine on Sunday and Monday made weather somewhat hot as temperatures rose to 14 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures however were low in the countryside including Pahalgam in south and Gulmarg in north because of some more rain on Sunday and snowfall in the upper reaches during last two weeks.
The Met office said a westerly wave that generated rain was moving out. And weather would remain dry and sunny almost all over Kashmir on Tuesday.
