SRINAGAR: The DPR for construction of flyover at Rawalpora junction has been submitted to NHAI at an estimated cost of Rs. 62.07 crore for approval and funding which is awaited while as regarding Panthachowk crossing there is no proposal under consideration of the State government at present, however, funds have been sanctioned for acquisition of properties for road widening at other related activities.
The information was given by the Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Gurezi on the behalf of Minister for R&B, while replying to a question by Mr. Ghulam Nabi Monga in the Legislative Council.
Gurezi informed that in the 4th meeting of State Level Sanctioning Committee (SLSC) constituted in the H&UD Department, among other projects, the project for construction of flyovers at NH-1A Bye-Pass intersection at Bemina estimated to cost Rs. 43.19 crore have been cleared under UIG submission of JnNURM.
