Compensation increased for wild animal victims

Jammu:  Minister for Forest and Ecology, Mian Altaf Ahmed Monday said that the amount of compensation for the people killed by wild animals has been increased from Rs one lakh to 3 lakh.

During Zero Hour in Legislative Assembly, Mian Altaf assured the House that efforts have been made to address the issue of man-animal conflict in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
