Probe Sought in Doda Student’s Death

JAMMU - R&B Minister, Abdul Majid Wani today demanded a probe by CBI in the spate of mysterious deaths of Kashmiri students pursuing studies outside J&K.

Another young boy, Khalid Mintoo son of Riyaz Mintoo from Doda was found dead under suspicious circumstances last week in Punjab where he was pursuing an engineering course.

Wani demanded probe in all such cases wherein J&K students, studying in various parts of the country, were found dead. Wani said that this is really a matter of serious concern, today, which needs to be investigated by the CBI.

Expressing grave concern over number of deaths of students belonging to different parts of our state who were studying in various parts of the country, Majid Wani asked for the probe so as to ascertain the truth behind these sudden deaths and also to expose any foul play behind these deaths.

Wani said that like many incidents before, today, again we lost a bright and promising young man from our state.
