Srinagar: Two youth were arrested Friday for trying to set ablaze milad buntings and flags in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir.
Reports said that the people in Busarbugh area this afternoon spotted two youth, who were trying to burn the flags and buntings hoisted to celebrtae Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). The locals caught them and handed them over to the police. They have been identified as Junaid Ahmad Mir, of Busarbugh and Saqib Ahmad Wani of Shuhama.
A police official later said that a case has been registered and further investigations started in this regard. (GNS)
