NEW DELHI: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah met Union Minister for Home Affairs, Sushilkumar Shinde Friday evening here.
An official spokesman said, the two leaders reviewed the preparatory arrangements by the state government and the logistics it requires from the Central Government for the smooth and peaceful conduct of ensuing Parliament Elections in the State.
Matters pertaining to prevailing law and order scenario, general situation in the State and the coordination between various security agencies in their functioning were also discussed in detail in the meeting.
