Srinagar: Expressing serious concern about the continuous house confinement of Syed Ai Geelani, Chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah Saturday said that Geelani must be released immediately and that his confinement must be condemned at large.
Shah also expressed serious concern over the continuous house arrest of octogenarian Dr Muhammad Qasims ailing health in jail and re-arresting of Masrat Alam Bhat.
Terming Kashmir dispute as detrimental to the peace and stability of the South Asia Shah Saturday United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon to prevent the South Asia from destruction of war by implementing the resolutions passed in UN Security Council 65 years ago.
Shah stared further, The Kashmir issue simmers with each passing day due to Indias stubbornness and unwillingness to resolve the issue, Shah in a statement issued to press on Saturday said, adding that India not only by implementing harsh laws has conferred limitless powers to forces and police to suppress the freedom movement of Kashmiris but also is involved in grave human rights violations in the state.
