SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Friday denied reports that the results of the secondary school examination will be declared on Saturday.
The reports appearing on social networking websites and carried by some news agencies as well is far from reality. The result will not be declared tomorrow. It will be declared next week, Public Relations Officer (PRO) BOSE, Showkat Usman said.
He expressed surprise over the false reporting by the news agencies. He said that the people, especially the students should not pay any heed to rumour mongers.
A PRO has been tasked for this purpose and media people should contact him for any clarifications, he said, adding Its strange that some of our officials divulge reports to media without the knowledge of PRO leading to confusion among the masses, he added. (GNS)
