UJC Opposes Border Embankment

SRINAGAR: Stating that the construction of the wall along the Line of Control (LOC) in the state of Jammu and Kashmir was aimed at convert the state into a prison, the United Jihad Council (UJC) chief Syed Sallah-ud-Din has said that the proposal will be strongly opposed.

According to a statement issued today, the UJC chief  said that the Kashmir issue is an international issue accepted by both India and Pakistan and no law on earth can permit its division into two parts through construction of a wall on border.

The UJC chief further said:  “The people of Kashmir will oppose any such move that divides the region and that the Pakistan before the world must uncover India’s hidden policies.”

Sallah-ud-Din said that the people of Kashmir are at war with India and have rendered the sacrifices of precious lives, properties. “This war will continue till the oppression continues in Kashmir. Construction of the wall along LOC is like the Berlin wall and is aimed to make the occupation of India permanent in Kashmir but the move will be opposed on all the fronts.” (KNS)
