GANDERBAL: To finalize the modalities for the National Lok Adalat to be held onNovember 23, 2013 at Ganderbal, Principal District and Sessions Judge convened a meeting of District Officers at Court Complex Ganderbal here today.
It was given out in the meeting that cases pertaining to provisions of public services including land mutations, establishment of Anganwari Centres, MG NREGA, Electricity, Disaster Management, Water Regulation Act and Motor Vehicle Act shall be taken up for amicably settlement during the said National Lok Adalat.
Besides, cases pertaining to Municipal Committee Ganderbal, issuance of Job Cards and work execution and payments made thereof under MG NREGA shall also be taken up for solution.
Principal District and Sessions Judge Ganderbal on the occasion emphasized on the utility of mediation in the amicable settlement of cases, besides developing synergistic executive and police.
The general masses of the district have also been informed to approach District Legal Services Authority before November 19, 2013 so that a pre Lok Adalat can be held on the same day.
Meanwhile, according to Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Authority, Srinagar, National Lok Adalat also be held at Srinagar on November 23, 2013.
Accordingly, all the interested persons are informed to register their cases for mediation and amicable settlement with concerned authorities.
