SRINAGAR- The 43rd state level multi lingual HUSSAINI MUSHAIRA will be held at Budgam on 6thNovember 2013.
35 prominent poets of major languages of J & K including Kashmiri, Urdu, Balti, Gojri and Punjabi will pay homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and martyrs of Karbala.
The function will start at Hussain Manzil, Budgam with the release of 604 page voluminous book pertaining to 600 Years literary history of elegiac poetry in Kashmiri language entitled KASHR-I-MARSY HUND TAWAREEKH (1392- 2014 A.D) authored by Shahid Budgami.
The book based on comprehensive research on the subject has been included in the syllabus of I.A.S and K.A.S examinations besides in the M.A in Kashmiri studies of Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan and M.A in Kashmiri University of Kashmir, Srinagar.
Prior to new updated 2014 edition of this book, three editions of KASHR-I-MARSY HUND TAWAREEKH were published previously.
