Body of Pak national sent back

SRINAGAR: Police on Monday claimed to have recovered a body from a river near Teetwal area in Tanghdar sector.

A senior police official said that police recovered the body from Kishanganga (Neelum) River on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Sidiq, son of Barkatullah, resident of Jora Banda, in Pakistani side of Kashmir.

After conducting the postmortem and other formalities, the body was handed over to Pakistani authorities in Teetwal area, the official said.

Meanwhile, Police has registered a case under section 174 CrPc in Police Station Teetwal and has started further investigation in this regard.
