Srinagar: The Cabinet which met here Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah ordered transfers and postings of 18 officers in the administration.
Ms. Sonali Kumar, IAS, Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal, vice Ms. Sarita Chouhan.
K.B. Aggarwal, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, vice Ms. Sonali Kumar.
Shantmanu, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Industries & Commerce Department, has been transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
Sarita Chouhan, IAS, Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department, vice M.A. Bukhari.
M.A. Bukhari, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, vice Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad.
Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, IAS, Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, vice K.B. Aggarwal.
Saurabh Bhagat, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Industries & Commerce Department, vice Shantmanu.
Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Secretary, J&K Legislative Council, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of the Secretary, J&K Legislative Council, till further orders.
The post of the Secretary, J&K Accountability Commission, held by Ms. Anita Koul, has been upgraded in status and responsibility to that of Secretary in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, till it is held by her.
Mohammad Sayed Shah, Registrar, J&K State Information Commission, has been transferred and posted as Director, Urdu Coordination Cell, Law Department, which post shall has been upgraded in status and responsibility to that of the Secretary in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, till it is held by him.
Saugat Biswas, IAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation & FC Department, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation.
Shyam Vinod Meena, IAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation & FC Department, vice Saugat Biswas.
Mohammad Javid Khan, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries, Kashmir, relieving Tariq Ahmad Mir, Director, Command Area Development, Kashmir, of the additional charge of the post of the Director, Industries, Kashmir.
Bashir Ahmad Bhat, KAS, Director, Rural Sanitation, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, vice Mohammad Javid Khan.
Tahseen Mustafa, Chief Engineer, R&B Department, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, vice Saurabh Bhagat.
Mohammad Matloob Khan, KAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Director, Rural Sanitation, J&K, vice Bashir Ahmad Bhat.
Javid Ahmad Shah, KAS, Joint Director and Ex-Officio Special Secretary, SKIMS, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, JAKFED.
Afroz Ahmad Mir, KAS, Director, Defence Labour Procurement, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, KVIB, vice Ravinder Singh.
Ravinder Singh, Secretary, KVIB, has been transferred and posted as Director, Defence Labour Procurement, vice Afroz Ahmad Mir.
The cabinet also accorded sanction to the creation of one post of Director General Economics and Statistics Jammu and Kashmir in the pay scale of Rs. 37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs. 10000 by corresponding reduction of post of Director Economics and Statistics in the pay scale of Rs. 37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs. 8700.
