KUSU stages protest in KU

Srinagar: Kashmir University Students Union staged a protest demonstration against the atrocities, arrests and Gool killings on Tuesday.

According to reports hundreds of students from all departments of Kashmir University, soon after mid-day prayers, assembled outside university mosque and took out a rally against the desecration of Holy Quran, atrocities and Ramban killings.

The students carried with them different banners and the black flags seeking freedom from India. University reverberated with pro-freedom, pro-Islam and anti-India slogans, KUSU said. Students accompanied by general staffers urged upon the International community to put an end to the ‘Indian occupation in Kashmir’. CNS
