MOSCOW: Here is yet another unique love story…on the Internet, between celebrities (for all the wrong reasons). In a unique Twitter message from renowned Russian spy-Anna Chapman, Edward Snowden gets a marriage proposal. “Snowden, will you marry me?,” a Twitter account with the name and the photograph of Anna Chapman reads. Humor or not, the tweet is evident of the relation America shares with its European counterparts.
Anna was one of 10 Russian agents who were arrested in the United States and was deported in a spy-swap in 2010. On not getting a reply from Snowden, a second tweet followed which said: “@nsa, will you look after our children?”, perhaps a sarcastic comment mocking the ‘spying’ powers of the US. Snowden is believed to be in hiding in a transit area in the Moscow airport since June 23. Eventually, he has appealed to different countries for asylum.
