Salman interacts with ‘civil society’ in city

SRINAGAR:- Union Minister for External Affairs Mr. Salman Khurshid who is here on State visit,  Friday afternoon held an interactive session with Civil Society which included select group of  Journalists, Doctors, Lawyers and party workers at Broadway Hotel.

President, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and Member Parliament, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz and several Cabinet Ministers were present on the occasion, a PCC statement said. The statement however did not identify the civil society members present there.

Minister for Medical Education, Mr. Taj-Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Public Enterprises, Peerzada Mohammad Sayed, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Mr. Sham Lal, Minister for Tourism, Mr.  G.A. Mir, Minister for Housing and Horticulture, Mr. Raman Bhalla, Minister of State for Health, Mr.  Shabir Ahmed Khan, Legislators, senior congress workers and Mehla congress workers were however present in strength.  

Issues relating to development in the State in various sector also came under discussion during the session.
