YUSMARG In a bid to promote Kashmiri language , a day long literary event was organised by District Information centre, Budgam in collaboration with Kashmir Centre for Culture and Literature, Chrar-i-Sharief here today.
As many as 20 poets presented papers and recited their Kashmiri poetry collection at the world famous health resort Yusmarg. Among others reputed Kashmiri poets including Dr. Bashar Bashir, Assad ullah Asad, Abdul Rehman Lateef, Abdul Ahad Gulshan, Ms. Shahnaz Mumin, Ali Ahsan besides District Information Officer Budgam, Mantasha Binti Rashid participated in the literacy function. Pertinently, the department of Information has been organizing debates, seminars, musharias throughout the State for preserving and promoting Kashmiri language.
