SRINAGAR: Terming Gulazar Ahmed Bhat as the second Acharya Rajneesh (Osho) of Kashmir, International Movement of Khatm-i-Nabuwat (IMKN) Thursday urged government to take stern action against the imposter and quack Darvish.
IMKN students staged a protest in Press Enclave Srinagar on Thursday.
Talking to reporters Molvi Mohammad Amin in a scathing attack on Gulzar Ahmed Bhat said that he has committed a profane act by misinterpreting Islamic principles and wisdom to lure girls for shameless acts. He said that the fake faith-healer should be punished as it is the demand of the people who have got offended by his barbaric acts.
He appealed his so-called followers to seek mercy from the Allah and shun the erroneous path, which they have been following. I appeal to judiciary to hang this imposter and satisfy the collective conscience of people of Kashmir, he said adding said that the swindlers like Gulzar Bhat have not only brought disrepute to the supreme religion of Islam but naive people too become sinners by following them blindly.
He said that Gulzar has misinterpreted several verses of Holy Quran as per his taste and must be made accountable.

Peoples Democratic Party chief spokesperson Nayeem Akhtar Thursday demanded stern action against the fraud faith-healer Gulzar Ahmed Bhat and said in the garb of imparting Islamic education, the said quack was propagating immorality.
Talking to CNS he said he said that this case should not be shelved like other cases and stern punishment should be given to those who are involved in this ashamed act.
We have seen in the past how guilty were given a free hand and acquitted from all the frauds. There are apprehensions that government may put the case into cold storage to appease a few, he said adding that the punishment should be so severe so that nobody even thinks of doing such shameless acts again.
