SRINAGAR: In the backdrop of Chinese incursion in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, Army Chief General Bikram Singh will be on a two-day visit to the state to review the security situation at high level meetings here, official sources said.
“General Singh will reach the winter capital tomorrow morning and will hold meetings with the Northern Command Army Commander Lt Gen K T Parnaik besides other senior officials,” official sources here said.
They said the General will inspect security situation of the state especially the recent Chinese incursion in the Ladakh region.
“Army Chief will also have meetings with the Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on security related issues,” they said.
