JAMMU- Chairman, J&K Legislative Council, Mr. Amrit Malhotra has constituted a House Committee to look into the issue of restoration of State Properties situated at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Sirsa (Haryana), Amritsar and other states of the Union.
The Committee will submit its report based on all aspects of the subject to the House during the next session.
Chairman, Legislative Council will be next Ex-officio Chairman of the Committee while Ajat Shatrusingh, Jehangir Hussain Mir, Showkat Ahmed Ganai, G. N. Monga and Dr. Shehnaz Ganai will serve as its members.
Meanwhile, the Chairman also constituted a House Committee to look into alleged bungling and embezzlement of public money worth crores of rupees in JAKFED from 1987 onwards including cases culminating in registration of case FIR 3/95 by State Vigilance Organisation.
The Committee will comprise of Khalid Najeeb Suharawardy as Chairman while Naresh Kumar Gupta, Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Ali Mohammad Dar and Muzaffar Ahmed Parrey as its members.
The Committee will submit its report to the House during the next session.
