Wild Cat Creates Chaos in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A stray wild cat created chaos in South Kashmir’s Muniward village on Monday.

According to reports people of Muniward in Anantnag district were too scared to watch a wild cat roaming in their village. “We first thought that it was a leopard but later on some Wild Life officials confirmed it was a wild cat. The cat actually was seen in the village on Sunday night when it made some unusual sounds. People were frightened while the children were unable to venture out from their houses during the day,” Mohammad Ramzan, said.

Hundreds of villagers chased the wild cat during day however it managed to climb on the top of a tree.

Wild Life officials had cordoned village to catch her live when the reports last came in. (CNS)
