Tahir Muzter Passes Away

SRINAGAR: Noted journalist and political comentator Tahir Muzter passed away on Wednesday at his uptown residence in Srinagar. He was 79.
Muztar who worked for several publications including National Conference mouth piece Nawai Subh also served as political secretary to former Chief Minster Dr. Farooq Abdullah.

Muzter born in 1935 is survived by his Wife, two daughters and son Dr Kaisar Jha, Medical Superintendent Govt. Dental College Srinagar.

Various journalists, social workers, Politicians and people from other walks of life thronged to his Rawal Pora residence after the news of his death reached Press Enclave.
