SRINAGAR: Flaying the district administration for publicizing a help line number for people informing them to contact administration in case CRPF personnel commit excesses, Inspector General CRPF, V.S Yadav Wednesday said that there was no need for this as CRPF brass was always in touch with administration.
I dont know the reason for publicizing this help line number as our men never commit excesses. Involvement of CRPF personnel in any incident is being given wide publicity while no one is ready to accept that stone-pelters are responsible for the injuries of our 350 men. More than 100 of our vehicles were damaged and still people blame that CRPF personnel commit excesses, Yadav said.
