Killing of Tahir Sofi: Probe Yet To Begin

SRINAGAR: Baramulla district administration has not started its probe into the killing of a local resident Tahir Ahmed Sofi who lost his life in firing by govt forces.

“We are busy in maintaining law and order and once we will be free, investigation will be started,” Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Manzoor Ahmed Qadri who has been appointed as investigating officer said.

We have not consulted Army yet and the probe will hopefully start from Monday,” Qadri said adding that they will soon record the statements of witnesses in this regard. (CNS)
