SRINAGAR: A Kashmiri student Zaffar Hamed Wani has secured 11th position at all India level in Companies Secretaries examination held by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in December, 2012.
The examination was held at over 84 centres across India including Kashmir. Notably, the students from the valley have shown exemplary performance in all the three levels of CS Programme.
Chairman Srinagar Chapter of ICSI, Parvez Ahmad, who is Executive President of the J&K Bank, congratulated the faculty and all successful students and Zaffar Hamed Wani in particular for outstanding performance in the examination. The performance of students in the examination is the recognition of the efforts of the Srinagar Chapter and inspiration for all the students pursuing company secretaryship course in the valley, he said.
The student Zaffar Hamed has attributed his success to the Srinagar Chapter of the Institue. It is a great honor to represent my home land at the national level in one of the most prestigious professional qualification in India. It gives me immense pleasure to share my success with youth of Kashmir. I am indeed highly thankful to my parents, mentors, friends who always encouraged me to traverse greatest heights in the professional excellence. I am particularly grateful to the entire administration of Srinagar Chapter of ICSI, he said.
