8th Class Exams Postponed

JAMMU:- Following paper leakage the Director School Education, Jammu has postponed all the remaining papers of 8th Class external examinations scheduled to be held from February 23 to March 3, 2013 in summer and winter zones of Jammu division. 

The next dates (revised date sheet) shall be notified separately. 

Meanwhile responding to a specific complaint of paper leakage in Poonch, the Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand has ordered a probe into the incident. On his directions two persons found involved in the leakage of question paper of 8th Standard have been immediately placed under suspension.

Tara Chand has directed Deputy Commissioner Poonch to hold a probe into the leakage of question paper. An FIR has already been lodged in the case. The examination, meanwhile has been postponed.
