Khoda Takes Oath As First CVC

SRINAGAR: Governor N. N. Vohra administered the oath of office to Mr. Kuldeep Khoda as Chief Vigilance Commissioner and R. K. Jerath as Vigilance Commissioner in the State Vigilance Commission at a function held at Raj Bhavan, here Friday evening. 

Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady; Mr. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister; Mr. Tara Chand, Deputy Chief Minister; Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, Chief Secretary; Mr. Ashok Prasad, Director General of Police; Mr. G. R. Sufi, State Chief Information Commissioner; Mr. B. R. Sharma, Principal Secretary, Planning and Development; Mr. K. B. Agarwal, Principal Secretary, Higher Education; Mr. B. B. Vyas, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister; Mr. Navin K. Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Governor; Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, Secretary, General Administration, and family members of Mr. Khoda and Mr. Jerath were among those present at the Oath Ceremony.
