JAMMU Governor N. N. Vohra, who is Chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, released a Brochure brought out by the Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Tourism Development Cooperative Ltd. (JKLTDC), Jammu and Kashmir, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
This Brochure, listing Dos and Donts for the intending pilgrims, has been brought out by the JKLTDC with a view to enlarging awareness among the Yatris about the various aspects of the annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra, including the terrain and topography, and the precautions to be taken during the pilgrimage. This years Yatra commences on 28th June, 2013.
Interacting with a delegation of the JKLTDC on this occasion, the Governor lauded their initiative of bringing out the Brochure, which would serve as a useful guide for the pilgrims. He observed that such literature could be usefully made available at the Yatra Registration Counters across the country for the benefit of the intending pilgrims.
