Chairman unveils special logo, Calendar-2013
SRINAGAR: J&K Bank Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad unveiled the Banks Platinum Jubilee Logo and Calendar-2013 here at Corporate Headquarters in presence of Executive Presidents Tafazal Hussain and Parvez Ahmad, Presidents Abdul Rauf Bhat and Mohammad Sayed Wani.
Notably, the bank, incorporated in 1938, is celebrating its 75th year of service beginning today.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman said, It is a moment of delight and honour for me to launch a special Platinum Jubilee logo and also unveil the wall Calendar-2013 under the theme A journey through the colours of J&K. The Bank is entering 75th year of its exemplary journey that spans over more than seven decades of unrelenting struggles, enduring successes and dedicated service. We have a got a special Platinum Jubilee logo on the calendar along with all other Bank collaterals this year.
Celebrating the platinum jubilee of this great institution would only mean to make it a special year for all our investors, stake holders, customers and people of the state. We have planned an entire array of programmes and activities that fit well with the Banks philosophy of financial empowerment and servant leadership, Chairman added amid applause from the entire top management of the bank.
He further said, This year, we have once again focused on the visual richness of natural heritage that our state is bestowed with in abundance. It captures not only our diverse geography but represents our strong regional identity.
The perception that calendar here has become synonymous with the J&K Bank calendar is a greater compliment from our people that we receive with respect and responsibility. The Banks calendar has, over the years, earned an element of trust and authenticity among the people, he added.
The calendar displays various magnificent, scenic and mundane yet magical visuals of places, spots from across the state, few of which are still not popular among the residents of and visitors to the state.
Notably, the Banks platinum jubilee celebration logo is inspired by the images and patterns that are popularly used in handicrafts and architecture of the state, which enable a unique identity besides denoting the strong bond between the state’s culture and the Bank
