2 year course converted into a 3 year one
SRINAGAR: Students of Royal Polytechnic College held protest demonstrations at the press enclave on Wednesday against the management of the institution.
Agitators alleged that the management had extended the duration of a two years course by one year thus making it a 3 year course.
Were pursuing the Draftsmen Course in the institution. We were told at the joining stage that the course is of two years duration. Now to get the more money from the candidates, management is telling that the course has been extended to three years, alleged a student Showkat Ahamd. There is no accountability in the management and theyre using their discretion for their own interests at the risk of our career, he alleged.
Agitators asked the authorities to review their decision or else to face agitation and boycott of institution. (KNS)
